UGANDA THE PEARL OF AFRICA |

It
is many years since Sir Winston Churchill spoke of Uganda being “The Pearl of
Africa”,
but even now very little has changed. It remains a beautiful country
with many outstanding
features; from the source of the River Nile flowing
north from Africa’s largest body of water,
Lake Victoria, to the picturesque
snow capped peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains – it is fast
becoming a
traveller’s dream.
It
is where the savannah of the East meet with the tropical jungles of the West, it
is a country
that boasts one of the most diverse populations of primates and
birds, as well as hosting all
of the big game that Africa, as a continent, is
famous for.
The
green of the country explodes across the landscape, local villages dot the
backdrop and
wherever one looks, children skip and run. Landlocked Uganda is
safely tucked away from
the rest of East Africa’s busy tourist destinations.

adventure, and soothe those keen to unwind.
