| DAY 1 | Meet your host at Namibia’s International airport. Transfer to Windhoek for a short tour of its sights & sounds
before settling into a comfortable Bed and breakfast. Remainder of the afternoon/evening at own leisure until dinner. Relax from the long flight and acclimatize to Namibia. |
| DAY 2 | As the
landscape changes from thorn bush to Mopane shrubs, stop-over for lunch en-route. Your first overnight stop is at a Cheetah conservation farm. An opportunity to get some real close-up photographs of these big cats of Africa - plus some personal inter-action with a few semi-tame Cheetahs. |
| DAY 3 | A relatively long haul today as you penetrate deep into the wilderness area of Kaokoland – home to the ochre-red Ova-Himba - towards the only town of the Region. |
| DAY 4 | After an early breakfast, join an excursion to visit the Epupa Waterfall; the sacred burial grounds and village of the Ova- Himba. The Ova-Himba is the last African tribe of nomadic pasturalists,
totally divorced from western lifestyles. |
| DAY 5 | Drive right up to the Kunene River, the border between Namibia and Angola. End your day with a sundowners boat cruise on the Kunene River. |
| DAY 6 | Today you are own leisure to either partake in some adrenalin-activity, such as white water rafting, canoeing, or a guided trip on quad bikes along the Kunene River. |
| DAY 7 | Return towards the south, but before leaving the Kaokoveld, visit one of the most enchanting wilderness lodges in the area. A venue which boasts the largest concentration of endemic and semi-endemic bird species found in Namibia. After dinner, join a night Game viewing drive to seek out the nocturnal animals of Africa. |
| DAY 8 |
Start your day with one of the most informative guided hikes available; cool off in a splash pool, or view wildlife
from an elevated hide and on a Game drive. Excellent opportunity for possible sighting of the desert Elephants and the latest
resident addition - a pride of nine Lions that had recently moved in and decided to make this
concession area their home. |
| DAY 9 | Unfortunately, all good things must also come to an end and today you have to return to Windhoek. Not to make the return to civilization
too harsh, overnight at a small Game Lodge on the outskirts of Windhoek.
End your day with a
scenic drive for a final glimpse of our Namibian sunset on this, your last
night in Namibia, Africa. |
| DAY 10 | Subject to flight departure time, you may have all morning to enjoy nature walks on the premises, or simply relax on a pool chair, viewing wildlife at the waterhole. Transfer to Namibia’s International airport to arrive in time for your departure flight. |
