GENERAL INFORMATION
This
wilderness safari is only possible with a minimum booking of two Guests. Although not
bound
by any particular season, the months of mid-November to January can be uncomfortably
hot - height of Namibian summer, the wilderness even more so! If a "best" time
must be singled
out, weather-
wise, it will probably be from February to mid- August. But, this luxury
safari
is
open
throughout the year - whenever it suits you. Due to the fact that the duration
of this luxury
safari is only ten days, no camping will be included, only full accommodation. This will ensure
that you could
spend every possible minute enjoying the adventure that this luxury,
wilderness
safari has to offer.
All
the accommodation choices are of the very best available, and this luxury
version ensures
the most relaxed mode of travel as the longest distance in the
itinerary - the northernmost point
in this wilderness - is by light aircraft, rather than travelling by road. The remaining road travel
sections of this safari, are restricted to
either tarred roads, or short "hops" on gravel roads.
Furthermore, the itinerary allows for
a stop-over of two nights at one of the most remarkable
venues in Namibia! Here Guests can enjoy the true
meaning of wilderness area, but in absolute
luxury. Not only does it offer wide open
spaces and unpolluted
skies, but the serene tranquility
of the area is further supplemented by an
in-house WELLNESS
centre where Guests may enjoy
such pampering as aromatherapy massages &
reflexology - when not
tempted to wallow in a
sulphur-free natural mineral spring.

Our
restriction to a maximum of four Guests, is due to the seating arrangement in
the
light aircraft.
Should there be more than four Guests wishing to travel together, a second host and
vehicle will
be introduced, as well as a re-calculation for a second aircraft. Groups thus
divided, will still be
able to travel together as one group, but with two hosts, two vehicles and two
aircraft - or more.
