GENERAL OVERVIEW
| This wilderness camping
safari is guaranteed to run, should a minimum booking for 2 guests
(sharing) be received. Obviously, the greater the number of guests per booking, the lower the
unit costs per person. The safari will start in Windhoek, and end there
again 14 days later. This safari will bring you very close to Nature, due to all-camping accommodation throughout the journey, to experience the true magic of Africa. Venues are carefully chosen to include as much wildlife viewing as possible, but at the same time taking you into the rugged and harsh wilderness areas of Damaraland and Kaokoland, the last true wilderness in Africa! Here you will find no fences or enclosures and the famous Namibian desert-adapted Elephants may be encountered anywhere, without warning. This is also the ONLY area on earth where the Black Rhino still roams free! Although sightings of free-roaming animals can NEVER be guaranteed by anybody, the nature of the landscape allows for open viewing ground. A special treat will be one night at a Cheetah Conservation Farm. Arrangements will be made for you to be invited to the homestead where you will have the opportunity for some inter-action, and very close-up photography, of a few semi-tame Cheetahs. A three-night respite on the banks of the Kunene River in Kaokoland is also included where you have the opportunity to partake of a variety of adrenalin activities - even white water rafting! Work your way back along the central region of this wilderness to set up camp in the shadow of the highest mountain peak in Namibia - the Brandberg. |

Guests, are NOT the maximum we allow per safari, but the maximum per
host and vehicle. Should there be more than six Guests wishing to travel
together, a second host
and vehicle will be introduced. Groups thus divided, will still travel together
as one, but with two
hosts and two vehicles.
